In the latest episode of Eye of the Coach, Patrick Mouratoglou explains why the 2023 clay-court season should be a wild ride, and why the upcoming edition of Roland-Garros could be the most exciting tournament we’ve seen in Paris for a long time. The legendary coach says Rafael Nadal turning 37 in early June while he is having so much difficulty staying healthy is the biggest reason that the window of opportunity is open for the rest of the field.
In addition to Novak Djokovic, Mouratoglou also believes that the young players on tour are finally in position to assert themselves as contenders.
